Interdisciplinary Project - Geometry and English

Dando continuidade ao trabalho com o geoplano virtual - software de geometria dinâmica criado pelo professor Vaz Nunes, resolvi realizá-lo de forma interdisciplinar, integrando-o as aulas da professora de língua inglesa, Carolina Gomes. 

Diante das palavras inglesas que estão inseridas no software, decidi aproveitá-las para enriquecer o vocabulário trabalhado nas aulas de inglês. 

A professora Carolina Gomes repetiu as atividades que foram feitas em minhas aulas  de geometria, porém se apropriando dos procedimentos e figuras geométricas na língua inglesa.

Compreender os termos geométricos e realizar os procedimentos do software na língua inglesa tornam-se enriquecedor para o vocabulário do aluno. 

Para aqueles que quiserem treinar, seguem abaixo as nossas atividades realizadas com o geoplano virtual na língua inglesa( as atividades são as mesmas - vide a outra postagem neste blog).

1) Construct squares, rectangles, triangles, rhombi, parallelograms and trapezoids. Check the amount of vertices and sides. Construct the diagonals. What these figures do not have diagonal? Why?

2) Construct a square with the largest possible area and a square with the least possible area.

3) Construct three different figures with the same area.

4) Construct three different figures with the same perimeter.

5) Construct a rectangle of area 21 units.

6) Construct all possible rectangles with 24 units of area. Which of these has the largest perimeter and which has the smallest perimeter?

7) Build a cube. Check the amount of vertices, edges and faces.

8) Build four unfolds the cube.

9) Build a quadrangular pyramid and check the number of vertices, edges and faces.
